Michi, if anyone's been looking for him all day, is in the clinic. His skin is cold to the touch and he's shivering, but he's breathing, which wouldn't normally be cause for concern except for the fact that he doesn't normally have to breathe.

His chart says that his working diagnosis is hypothermia, but they want to run some tests. It may end up just being Velvet Mall Syndrome, meaning they can't do anything for him.

What's more, he doesn't feel like a god right now, or even a King of Bel. He doesn't feel like anything other than a normal teenage boy, actually.

Pay him a visit?

So. Stuck as a catboy under Loki's contract, Michi has to do what Loki says for a day.

... Unfortunately that's lead to Naoya being covered in catnip, and the two of them locked in a room. Michi sits on the bed, staring up at Naoya, eyes wide and pupils dilated.

After that display of... who knows what, Michi found himself being hauled off by Naoya.

He still felt angry, betrayed, hurt... he didn't know exactly what was going on, only that Naoya was leading him and that he wasn't thinking clearly enough to be able to guide himself. So he followed, still maintaining the deathgrip on Naoya's fingers.

[It's been a little while since he's seen that particular Naoya. He's a little concerned, but only because it probably means that Naoya has locked himself in a room with a programming project and hasn't eaten for days.]

[Ah, well. When he was read, he would show up, right?]

[Right. Cue lounging by the fountain.]

[Evening, or at least evening by the standards of this dimension. Michi climbed the stairs in the dorms towards the roof, hands shaking.]

[It was getting bad again, and the little part of him calling for destruction was beginning to become more than just something he could shrug off. Maybe he should find another dimension, another place where he could destroy things and satisfy that urge for right now.]

[But for now, he just sat near the edge of the roof, looking out at the fog and the Mall.]

[Justice. A principle he tried to uphold as well as he could, but he hadn't been terribly good at it lately.]

[Unless, of course, it was fate interfering with justice, but he still wasn't sure if he believed in what most thought of as "fate".]

[Set was from his world, but not - such situations happened in places like this, he supposed. In any case, Set was another god, and judgment over other gods was not his realm, nor was it Dike's - that task fell to her mother.]

[Still, he wanted to hear Set's side of the story, so he let his eyes slide closed for a moment, trying to pick up where Set was.]

[He doesn't want to go back to his world. He knows he'll have to, at the end of it - but time stays still there while he's gone, so why bother?]

[Instead, he's taken to opening doors, wandering around. Who knows what he'll find there?]

[Michi is still trying to get used to being in the Mall again. It amazes him that time really hasn't seemed to pass... at all, really. It's happened before, but with such a long time... he would have thought that it would have been longer.]

[He grabs a cup of coffee from a vendor and sits down at a table in the food court, watching people go past.]

[Right so now that all of that was over... it was time for some answers. It had been long enough, so Michi knocked on Orpheus' door. ... Hmm. No answer.]

[... Oh hey it was unlocked. Which probably meant he was hiding out in the pocket dimension again.]

Orpheus, I'm coming in.

[... Just in case he was doing something that Michi would rather not walk in on. Putting that set of mental images aside and vowing to never touch them again, Michi opened the door and headed inside.]

[... Yup. Pocket dimension again. He headed in, looking around to make sure that he didn't sneak up on the Assistant by accident.]

[Orpheus, hey Orpheus. Michi's in your pocket dimension. ~~Should have kept the door closed.~~ He's shaking a little on one of the couches, with his arms and wings wrapped around him, almost as if he's caught in a particularly bad dream.]

[...But he's not asleep. He's awake. And the shaking seems to be... the last bits of crying? ... Huh. How strange. Some loose feathers, both black and white, flutter gently to the floor.]

[Eventually, though, he sits up straight and reaches for the book he had discarded, staring at it intently. It's kind of obvious he's not really seeing the words, though.]
